CLEARANCE FOR CONFINED AREAS
- Hold a valid PPL(H) certificate
- Hold the TQ for the helicopter used for helipad training
- Hold a class 2 medical certificate issued by a DGAC doctor
- 65 h minimum flight time
Helipad landing qualification

The helipad landing qualification, also known as helipad training, enables you to acquire the skills needed to make safe landings on undeveloped terrain, outside airfields or helipads. Once you've completed this training, you'll be able to land on suitable surfaces, such as open or specific areas, while complying with the safety criteria required to guarantee optimal, safe operations in a variety of environments.
