Training access conditions
FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATION FI(H)
- Hold a class 1 or 2 medical certificate (depending on the type of license held) issued by a DGAC doctor
- For CPL(H): 220 h of flight time (including 100 h in CDB)
- For PPL(H) pilots: 220 h of flight time (including 200 h on CDB) + valid CPL(H) or ATPL(H) theory.
- At least 10 hours of instrument flight instruction
- At least 20 hours of field flying as a CDB
- Hold the QT for the helicopter used for the course
- Satisfy the theoretical and practical assessments required for entry into the internship
- Minimum age: 18 years old

Training includes :
- 30 hours of dual-flight training
- 125 hours of theoretical training

Theoretical training
Get ready for your license exam
To qualify as a Flight Instructor (FI), you will complete 125 hours of theoretical training. This training is designed to reinforce your aeronautical knowledge and prepare you to take over the role of helicopter flight instructor.
Thanks to personalized support, you'll be able to acquire the basic pedagogical skills needed to teach effectively, and understand the theoretical aspects of piloting and teaching.
