Helicopter flight training in the mountains
This course will familiarize you with the mountain environment and its particular aerology. You'll learn how to land at altitude, taking into account performance, trajectories and safety.
Training access conditions
MOUNTAIN TRAINING
- Hold a valid PPL(H) certificate
- Hold the QT for the helicopter used for the mountain flying course.
- Hold a class 2 medical certificate issued by a DGAC doctor
- No time limit

Pilot the peaks with confidence
The emphasis is on flight safety and approaching high-altitude areas. Mountain flight preparation, aerology, overflying hostile areas and flying at power limits are all covered.
