CPL(H) commercial helicopter pilot license

The Commercial Helicopter Pilot's License entitles its holder to operate as pilot-in-command of any helicopter, whether or not carrying passengers, for which he or she holds a type rating, throughout Europe and on a commercial basis.

Training access conditions

COMMERCIAL HELICOPTER PILOT LICENSE CPL(H)

  • Hold a valid PPL(H) certificate
  • Hold CPL(H) or ATPL(H) certification
  • valid EASA certificate
  • Hold a class 1 medical certificate issued by a DGAC doctor
  • 155 h of flight time, including 50 h as pilot-in-command and 10 h of navigation time
  • Minimum age: 18 on the day of the final practical test

Our EASA-compliant, DGAC-approved program combines rigor and high-level instruction. Each flight is preceded by a detailed briefing and followed by a constructive debriefing to maximize your progress.

Practical training includes 35 hours of flight time, including :
